Top Ten 'R' Films: Audiovisualcy

This marks my first contribution to the blog in quite some time, but I hope to be posting more regularly in the months to come. As a good starting point to my future pieces I wanted to share a little side-project I worked on recently.

The wonderful Catherine Grant from Film Studies for Free started a fun top ten movies alphabet on Facebook, taking the common viral personal 'top ten' lists and giving it a twist: you are allocated a specific letter from the alphabet from which to choose your films and you should compile a video of your selection. I jumped at the chance to (finally!) experiment with the video-essay format. Here is my contribution with the letter R:
